PEOPLE WITNESS A lot of strange things while travelling on New York’s subway.

It’s not unusual for people to spot celebs, but rarely are these celebs doing anything particularly exciting or strange.

So, people are strangely exhilarated by the sight of Irish actor Daniel Day-Lewis casually texting on his flip phone while taking public transport.

It’s 2018. Daniel Day-Lewis is worth $50 million. Nobody can deny that the Motorola Razr was a great phone, but surely it’s a little impractical in today’s world?

It all began when writer Karen Han spotted the 60-year-old actor on her train.
